Alabama Cop Jarrod Webster Turned Off His Body Camera and Sexually Assaulted a Woman in His Patrol Car.

Alabama Cop Jarrod Webster Sexually Assaulted a Woman During a Traffic Stop

Jarrod Gailen Webster was a police officer with the Killen Police Department in Alabama.

On November 12, 2023, Webster pulled a woman over.

According to the Justice Department, he ordered her out of her vehicle and asked her what she would do to “get out of this.”

When she refused, Webster turned off his body camera, handcuffed her, placed her in the back of his patrol car, and sexually assaulted her.

But that wasn't the only crime.

Webster also admitted that, between 2016 and 2018, he communicated with a minor and solicited and received sexually explicit images that constituted child sexual abuse material.

He ultimately pleaded guilty to federal charges of deprivation of rights under color of law and sexual exploitation of children.

In May 2025, Webster was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison, followed by lifetime supervised release.

A badge gave him authority.

A patrol car gave him control.

He used both to sexually assault a woman he had detained.
