Anand Henry was a 37-year-old software engineer and former tech executive living with his family in San Mateo, California.

On February 12, 2024, police entered the family's home for a welfare check.

Inside, they found four people dead.

Henry's wife, Alice Benziger, had been shot multiple times. Investigators determined Henry had killed her before turning the gun on himself.

Their 4-year-old twin boys, Noah and Nathan, were found dead together on a couch in another part of the house.

The children had not been shot.

Investigators determined their deaths were homicides, but the publicly released information did not establish their exact cause of death.

Henry had worked as a software engineering manager at Meta and Google and later co-founded an artificial-intelligence company called Logits.

None of that fucking mattered inside that house.

A woman was killed.

Two four-year-old children were killed.

And the person police identified as responsible was the husband and father who was supposed to be safe for them.

Noah and Nathan were four years old. They deserved to grow up. Alice deserved to live.
