Austin Douglas White Was a Teacher. He Pleaded Guilty to Indecency With a Child.

Austin Douglas White taught elementary school in Allen, Texas.

In October 2024, he was placed on leave after allegations surfaced involving inappropriate communication and conduct with a student. Other students later came forward with similar allegations.

In June 2025, a grand jury indicted White on four counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact, all second-degree felonies.

In March 2026, White pleaded guilty.

His sentence included 10 years of deferred-adjudication probation. If he successfully completes it, the criminal charges can ultimately be dismissed without a formal conviction.

White must also register as a sex offender for life and permanently surrendered his Texas teaching certificate. His sentence included 30 days in jail, but that jail time was probated.

He is also prohibited from contacting the victim or the victim's family and from having unsupervised contact with minors other than his own biological children.

He was an elementary school teacher.

The adults entrusted with children are supposed to protect them.

That trust should mean something.
