Border Patrol Agent Shane Millan Forced Women to Expose Their Breasts During Immigration Interviews. He Got One Year.

Shane Millan was a U.S. Border Patrol agent stationed at the Wellesley Island border station in New York.

His job included remotely processing immigrants who had crossed the southern border.

He used that authority to sexually humiliate women.

In August 2023, Millan conducted virtual processing interviews with three women and ordered each of them to expose her bare breasts to him over webcam. He ordered a fourth woman to expose herself while keeping her bra on.

Millan told the women these were legitimate searches required for admission into the United States.

They weren't.

Millan later admitted the women exposed themselves solely for his sexual gratification.

And according to federal prosecutors, he exploited something even more powerful than the uniform he was wearing: their fear.

He threatened to interfere with their ability to enter the United States if they refused to comply.

Millan was arrested in August 2024.

In March 2025, he pleaded guilty to two federal counts of deprivation of rights under color of law, acknowledging that he had violated the women's constitutional protection against unreasonable searches.

On August 27, 2025, a federal judge sentenced him to 12 months in federal prison.

One year.

These women were navigating an immigration system in which Millan represented federal authority. When he told them exposing their bodies was required, they had every reason to believe refusing him could jeopardize their future.

He turned their fear of being denied entry into sexual leverage. He called it a search. It was fucking exploitation.
