Christopher Evans Charged With Aggravated Murder in the Death of His 23-Day-Old Daughter, Naomi Evans

Christopher Evans Is Accused of Murdering His 23-Day-Old Daughter

Christopher Evans of Cincinnati, Ohio, is facing aggravated murder and 11 additional criminal charges in connection with the death of his newborn daughter, Naomi Evans.

Naomi was only 23 days old.

In September 2026, Cincinnati police responded to a home in Kennedy Heights after receiving a report of an unresponsive infant. Naomi was transported to Cincinnati Children's Hospital, where she died the following day.

According to authorities, the newborn suffered severe head trauma, including a skull fracture and bleeding in her brain.

Evans was subsequently indicted on 12 charges, including aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, and child endangerment. If convicted of the most serious charge, he could face life in prison.

The case is particularly disturbing because Evans reportedly has a previous conviction involving violence against another infant.

Court records indicate that he previously pleaded guilty in Warren County to assault and child endangering after throwing his then-week-old son onto a changing table, causing severe brain injuries and leg fractures. He served a three-year sentence, mostly on house arrest.

The new case remains pending. Evans has not been convicted of killing Naomi, and the charges against him must be proven in court.

But Naomi deserves to have her name recorded.

Naomi Evans lived for 23 days. Twenty-three fucking days. She should have known nothing but warmth, feeding, sleeping, and being held safely. Instead, prosecutors say she suffered catastrophic injuries at the hands of her own father.
