Daricka Moore Accused of Killing Six People, Including a 7-Year-Old Child, During Mississippi Shooting Rampage

Daricka M. Moore Is Accused of Killing Six People, Including Three Members of His Own Family, During a Mississippi Shooting Rampage

On January 10, 2026, authorities say 24-year-old Daricka M. Moore carried out a series of attacks across three rural properties near Jackson, Mississippi, leaving six people dead.

Three of the victims were members of Moore's own family.

According to investigators, the violence began shortly before 7 a.m. at a home on David Hill Road. Moore allegedly shot and killed his father, Glenn Moore, 67; his brother, Quinton Moore, 33; and his uncle, Willie Ed Grimes, 65.

Investigators say Moore then stole his brother's Ford F-150 and drove to another residence on Blake Road.

There, prosecutors allege he forced his way inside, attempted to sexually assault a woman, and fatally shot her 7-year-old cousin in front of witnesses.

Moore allegedly continued to a third home on Sloan-Griffin Road.

When deputies arrived, they found Barry Bradley, a local church pastor, and his brother, Samuel Bradley, both shot to death. Moore was arrested after a brief foot chase.

He has pleaded not guilty.

A grand jury subsequently indicted Moore on charges including three counts of capital murder, three counts of first-degree murder, attempted sexual battery, burglary of a dwelling, and two counts of felony motor-vehicle theft.

Moore is being held without bond while the case proceeds. Prosecutors have announced their intention to seek the death penalty if he is convicted of the capital murder charges, provided he is found legally competent to stand trial.

This case remains pending. Moore has not been convicted, and every allegation against him must still be proven in court.

Six people are dead. One was only seven years old.

Glenn Moore. Quinton Moore. Willie Ed Grimes. Barry Bradley. Samuel Bradley. And a 7-year-old child whose name does not need to be turned into public property for her death to fucking matter. Six lives. Three crime scenes. Now the court has to determine whether the man accused of taking them is guilty.
