21-Year-Old Dekamen Greene Faces Capital Murder Charge After Three Women Were Killed at Dallas House Party

Dekamen Greene, 21, is facing a capital murder charge in connection with a triple homicide at a house party in West Dallas, Texas.

The shooting happened shortly after midnight on May 26, 2026, at a short-term rental on Vilbig Road where investigators said a gunfight erupted during a large party attended by approximately 50 to 150 people.

Three young women were killed:

  • Jaclynn Scott, 20
  • Journie Griffin, 19
  • Jaiden Cooper, 24

A fourth person was wounded but survived.

Greene was arrested on July 17 by the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force and booked into the Dallas County Jail.

According to the arrest affidavit, investigators connected Greene to the scene using a combination of digital and forensic evidence, including court-ordered monitoring data from a GPS tracking device Greene was reportedly required to wear as a probationer, along with surveillance footage and matching ballistic shell casings.

Two other men have also been arrested in connection with the case: Tyson McGriff, 18, and Atravion Smith, 21.

Greene faces charges of capital murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The case remains pending. Greene and the other defendants have not been convicted, and their guilt will have to be established in court.

Jaclynn Scott was 20. Journie Griffin was 19. Jaiden Cooper was 24. A house party packed with young people became a fucking crime scene, and three women who should have gone home afterward never did.
