Former CBP Agent Jason Brown Faces 10 Felony Counts in Child Sexual Abuse Material Case.

Former CBP Agent Jason Brown Is Accused of Possessing and Sharing Child Sexual Abuse Material

Jason Michael Brown was a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent in Arizona.

Then investigators traced online child sexual abuse material back to his home.

According to authorities, Homeland Security Investigations began tracking files shared through peer-to-peer software in November 2024. The investigation eventually led to Brown’s residence in Gilbert.

When investigators searched the home, they reported finding digital files depicting the sexual exploitation of young children.

Brown was arrested in April 2025 and booked into the Maricopa County Jail on 10 felony counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

After his arrest, CBP said Brown's employment status was under review by its Office of Professional Responsibility, with involvement from the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Inspector General.

Brown has not been convicted, so these charges remain allegations unless proven or admitted in court.

But the accusation itself is serious and specific:

Investigators say a federal law enforcement agent wasn't simply possessing child sexual abuse material. They traced the sharing of it online back to his home.
