Former El Paso County Deputy Dalton Bridges Kidnapped and Sexually Assaulted a Woman. He Got 30 Days in Jail.

Dalton Bridges was a deputy with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado.

In January 2023, police were called to a home after Bridges made unwanted sexual advances toward a woman.

When she tried to leave, doorbell camera footage captured Bridges yelling at her and physically dragging her back inside the house.

He was arrested and eventually separated from the sheriff’s office.

Bridges initially faced multiple felony charges, including kidnapping and sexual assault.

In 2024, he accepted a plea deal and pleaded guilty to second-degree kidnapping, a felony, and third-degree sexual assault, a misdemeanor.

His sentence?

30 days in jail and four years of probation.

He was also required to register as a sex offender and complete domestic violence and alcohol-related treatment.

Thirty days.

There was video of him dragging a woman back into a house when she tried to get away.

She tried to leave. He physically dragged her back inside. And for kidnapping and sexual assault, he got 30 fucking days.
