ICE Supervisor Koby Don Williams Tried to Meet a 13-Year-Old for Sex. He Was Sentenced to More Than 11 Years.

Former ICE Supervisor Koby Don Williams Tried to Meet a 13-Year-Old for Sex. He Got More Than 11 Years.

Koby Don Williams was an ICE supervisor in Ellensburg, Washington, when he responded to an online advertisement targeting people seeking to sexually exploit children.

The person Williams believed he was communicating with was “Rebecca,” a fictional 13-year-old girl created by investigators during an undercover operation.

Over the next several days, prosecutors said Williams negotiated rates and exchanged sexually explicit messages about what he wanted to do with the child. During those conversations, he also mentioned that he worked as a “cop.”

On July 26, 2022, Williams drove a government-issued vehicle to a Quality Inn in Othello, Washington, expecting to meet the girl.

Police were waiting.

Inside his vehicle, investigators found his ICE badge, a loaded firearm, more than $4,000 in cash, alcohol, and Viagra.

Williams went to trial in May 2024. He claimed he never believed “Rebecca” was actually a child and argued that he had really been conducting an unauthorized “rescue mission” connected to a supposed DEA human-trafficking tip.

Federal prosecutors rejected that explanation, noting that no federal agency had ever referred such a case to him.

The jury convicted Williams of attempted online enticement of a minor.

On September 18, 2024, he was sentenced to 135 months in federal prison, more than 11 years, followed by 15 years of supervised release.

His conviction was later reviewed on appeal and remained intact.

There was no actual 13-year-old waiting in that hotel room. That was the point of the undercover operation.

Koby Don Williams thought there was. He negotiated for sexual access to a child, drove a government vehicle to meet her, and showed up carrying his ICE badge and a loaded fucking gun.
