ICE Supervisor Samuel Saxon Pleaded Guilty to Lying to Federal Investigators. He Also Faces Domestic Violence Charges.

Samuel Saxon wasn't a low-level ICE employee.

He served as an assistant field office director for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Now he faces criminal cases in both federal and state court.

Saxon was arrested in December 2025 after a neighbor reportedly witnessed and recorded part of a violent domestic incident involving his longtime partner. According to the information available here, state prosecutors have charged him with offenses including felonious assault, strangulation, and domestic violence.

Those state charges remain pending and should be treated as allegations unless and until they are proven in court.

But Saxon has already admitted to a separate federal crime.

During a Department of Homeland Security internal-affairs investigation into a domestic-assault incident, Saxon lied to federal investigators.

In April 2026, he pleaded guilty to making false statements to a federal officer.

And investigators say the December incident wasn't the first warning.

Prosecutors told the court that police had been called to the couple's home more than 20 times between 2024 and 2026, with earlier domestic-disturbance calls involving the same woman dating back to 2020.

Evidence presented during detention proceedings reportedly documented serious previous injuries to the woman, including a broken pelvis, internal bleeding, and severe bruising.

Following Saxon's arrest, ICE suspended him from his leadership position. By August 2026, the agency confirmed he no longer worked for ICE.

His federal sentencing is scheduled for October 20, 2026. He faces up to five years in federal prison for the false-statements conviction.

The state allegations still have to be proven.

The federal lie doesn't.
