Jacob Stanley Was Convicted of Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child. He Served Three Years.

Jacob A. Stanley Was Convicted of Making a Child Watch Sexual Activity

Jacob A. Stanley of Wisconsin was convicted of second-degree sexual assault of a child.

In 2014, when Stanley was 19, a judge sentenced him to three years in prison followed by three years of extended supervision for causing a child to view sexual activity.

He also received five years of probation in a separate case involving second-degree child sexual assault.

After completing his prison sentence, Stanley was released into the Marshfield community in 2017 under strict supervision, including electronic monitoring.

He remains a registered sex offender.

The legal language can make these cases sound distant and procedural.

A child was subjected to sexual abuse. That is the part that should never get buried beneath the paperwork.
