Air Force Veteran Robert Orsi Killed His Wife, Set Their Home on Fire, and Shot at His Own Children

Robert “Bob” Orsi was a U.S. Air Force veteran living with his family in Wetumpka, Alabama.

In July 2018, he murdered his 44-year-old wife, Charlene Orsi.

Authorities said Orsi shot Charlene beneath their carport. Then he went inside their home, forced his 12-year-old triplet daughters to lie on the floor, and shot at them.

One of the girls managed to escape to a neighbor's house and call 911.

While she was running for help, Orsi poured gasoline throughout the house and set it on fire.

Two of the other girls escaped as the home burned. Two of the triplets suffered serious gunshot injuries but survived.

When first responders arrived, they found Orsi dead inside from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Charlene had reportedly filed for divorce about two weeks before he killed her. Court records also showed the family had recently moved back to Alabama after living in Florida, and reporting on the case described allegations of drug abuse within the marriage.

Charlene tried to leave.

Her daughters were twelve years old.

He killed their mother, tried to kill them, and set their fucking home on fire around them. Three little girls survived what their own father did to their family.
