Robert William Fisher Is Still Missing 25 Years After His Wife and Children Were Murdered

Mary Fisher was 38. Her daughter Brittney was 12. Her son Bobby was 10.

On April 10, 2001, their Scottsdale, Arizona, home exploded and burned.

Inside, firefighters discovered something far worse than the aftermath of a house fire.

Mary, Brittney, and Bobby were dead.

Authorities determined that all three had been killed before the fire. Mary had been shot, and both children had suffered fatal injuries to their throats. Investigators believe the home's natural gas line was deliberately opened and the house set on fire in an attempt to conceal the killings.

Their husband and father, Robert William Fisher, was gone.

So was Mary's Toyota 4Runner.

Ten days later, the vehicle was discovered in the Tonto National Forest near Young, Arizona. Fisher was nowhere to be found.

And more than 25 years later, he still has not been captured.

The FBI says Fisher is wanted for allegedly murdering his wife and two children and destroying their home. He should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.

He spent nearly two decades on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. In 2021, the FBI removed him because he no longer met the list's criteria. He did not stop being a fugitive. His FBI wanted notice remains active today.

Twenty-five years.

No arrest.
No trial.
No verdict.

And a family that never got to grow older.

Mary. Brittney. Bobby.

Their names belong in The Accountability Archive because this case is not history.

It is still open.
