Ronald Williams Sr. Killed His Wife and Four Young Children in a Kansas Murder-Suicide

Ronald Williams Sr. Killed His Wife and Four Children Before Taking His Own Life

On August 11, 2026, 53-year-old Ronald Williams Sr. called 911 from Winfield, Kansas, and told authorities that he had killed his family and intended to kill himself.

Inside the home, authorities found five victims.

His wife, Kelly L. George, 44, was dead alongside four children:

  • Carol A. Williams, 9
  • Ronald H. Williams Jr., 7
  • Sarah K. Williams, 5
  • Kelly M. Magee-Williams, 3

Williams died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

But the investigation uncovered an especially disturbing complication.

According to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, evidence indicated that Williams and George had made plans together to kill their four children and then themselves. Investigators concluded that both adults shared culpability in the plan.

In the days before the deaths, the couple reportedly exhibited erratic behavior and made concerning statements to people in their community and to law enforcement.

Williams also had a substantial criminal history. Records identified him as a registered sex offender with previous Kansas convictions involving offenses including drugs, battery, assault on a law-enforcement officer, burglary, kidnapping, and attempted rape.

Because both adults died, there will be no criminal trial to test the evidence or determine guilt in a courtroom.

And whatever investigators concluded about the adults, the four children had no part in any plan made for them.

Carol was 9. Ronald Jr. was 7. Sarah was 5. Kelly was 3. Adults may have decided they were going to die. Those children did not fucking choose to die with them.
