Three People Killed and Nine Wounded in Tennessee Park Shooting as Four Men Face Murder Charges

Three people were killed and nine others wounded after gunfire erupted during a large gathering at Savannah Williamson Community Park, also known as Neely Station Park, in Denmark, Tennessee, on July 19, 2026.

Approximately 100 people were gathered for a block party when the shooting began around 10:40 p.m.

The three people killed were:

• Jeremiah Forbis
• Garrian Greer, 36
• Jamarion Burns, 19

Nine other people were injured. Most were adults, although a 16-year-old was among those treated for gunshot wounds.

According to the Madison County Sheriff's Office, investigators believe the violence began when people inside a Honda Accord opened fire into the crowd. Authorities say people in the crowd then returned fire, turning the gathering into a gunfight.

Investigators recovered evidence of multiple firearms, including numerous shell casings from different weapons and high-caliber rifle rounds.

Following an investigation involving local authorities, the FBI and ATF, four men were arrested:

Rodney Parker, 21; Ladarius Grimes, 21; Roshod Parker, 19; and Tomorris Person, 18.

Each has been charged with three counts of felony murder in the perpetration of attempted first-degree murder.

Authorities identified Rodney Parker as the driver of a Nissan Altima connected to the incident, Ladarius Grimes as the driver of the Honda Accord, and Roshod Parker and Tomorris Person as passengers in the Accord.

The cases remain pending. None of the four defendants has been convicted, and the prosecution will have to prove the charges in court.
