Gerardo Galvan and Alfonso Garcia Charged With Online Solicitation of Minors in Texas Undercover Sting

Two Texas Men Arrested After Allegedly Arranging to Meet Minors for Sex in Undercover Sting

Two men, Gerardo Galvan and Alfonso Garcia, were arrested in north Harris County, Texas, following an undercover operation targeting adults suspected of attempting to sexually exploit children.

The operation was conducted by the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office, working alongside local and state law enforcement agencies.

According to investigators, detectives posed as minors online.

Galvan and Garcia allegedly communicated with the undercover officers and arranged to meet people they believed were children for sexual activity.

Both men were arrested and charged with online solicitation of a minor.

Each was held on $100,000 bond.

Garcia also reportedly had an outstanding immigration warrant.

Their cases were assigned to separate courts, with Garcia's proceeding in the 496th District Court and Galvan's in the 208th District Court.

The charges remain pending, and neither man has been convicted.

There were no actual children waiting at those meetings. There were undercover officers.

But according to investigators, these men believed they were arranging sexual encounters with minors. And that is exactly why these investigations matter.
